I have always enjoyed the outdoors and first began photographing using a basic point & shoot camera in 1993. I would have never thought that little camera would spark such a passion inside me. I am very fortunate to have the loving support and encouragement of my wonderful wife, Erin. Her support allows me to continue to pursue my love for capturing nature's beauty. The time and commitment required isn't always easy and I am forever grateful for her!
In June, 2007 a new inspiration was born when our son, Will, came into the world. Since then I have come full circle on the idea of "people" pictures, which I used to avoid except for the occasional wedding for family or friends. I have realized there is no greater joy as a photographer than freezing a precious moment in time that a parent or bride can reflect back on and share with others. Thanks for taking the time to visit. I hope you can take a few moments to kick back and enjoy my interpretations of the many beautiful places I have been blessed to visit and the beautiful faces that have graced my lens.
